We headed over to check it out and took a beautiful dog named Bosco for a walk. Bosco is a seven year old AM Staff mix and is good with children aged eight and up. He was a pleasure to be around and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Rehtaeh loved walking dogs at the SPCA. If you can do something wonderful for a dog this weekend – head over to your local animal shelter and give some of your time to an animal in need of some love. Maybe volunteer some time. It helped us get through the day.
Bosco helped us get through the day. Animals have a way of doing that.
I’m a radical feminist and have been following Rehtaeh fairly closely since the news broke as well as following your blog. Her story has had a profound impact on me personally and other young women around me–as they relate. So, in her memory I will do as you have and take a dog on a walk IMO Rehtaeh.
