According the the Halifax Metro, the girls mother mother says the incident that turned her teenaged daughter from an A student and community volunteer to a troublemaker and dropout was a sexual assault – not just a case of child pornography.

“I don’t have my same little girl anymore,” said the mother Monday. “She just doesn’t care any more. She thinks that nobody cares.” That sounds so familiar it makes me feel ill.
